There
was a time when milk was delivered to homes in pretty glass bottles
and came from small family owned dairy farms. One such place was
in Farmington, Maine that still exists in the memories of those
who knew it, called "Hidden Acres." We have acquired
two wooden crates full of marvelous vintage (not reproductions)
half-pint milk bottles from Hidden Acres and also "Sunnyhurst
Dairy" in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
Imagine
your little one's delight to see that Santa can have his Christmas
eve milk served in an old-fashioned single serving bottle that
comes complete with a retro gift tag we designed and tied ribbon.
We've left a space for you to handwrite your child's name. These
can be displayed year after year.
There
is a limited supply of these bottles so be sure to get yours while
they last! If you want more than one quantities can be adjusted
in your shopping cart. You can choose between the two brands of
milk. Sunnyhurst comes with a red ribbon and has red lettering
on the bottle. Hidden Acres comes with a white ribbon and has
dark orange lettering on the bottle. Milk and cookies not included!
One
half-pint vintage milk bottle with ribbon and Santa tag.

Please
note that these are actual vintage milk bottles, NOT
reproductions, and as such have small scratches and signs of wear
but nothing to detract from the nostalgic charm! These markings
are due to "case wear" which commonly occurred when
the bottles rubbed against the metal partitions in the wooden
milk crates. They're really only noticeable when the bottles are
empty.
